| In the end of 1996 four young geezers Rice, Juz, Ju? Boest and Mace meet and form a progressive metal band called Future Shock. After a year Alex signs in as a vocalist. This 'fresh' band starts throwing gigs around the notorious Hellsinki area. Several demo tapes are recorded and in the spring of 1998 an edition of 100 copies of Future Shock demos is out. The edition is sold out in few days but extra editions will never be out because all the cash were spent in the name of relaxing and havin' fun. After millenium the band changes name as Prode and changes its music more strict and intense. The old ultimately proggressive style is dissed and forgotten. In the spring of 2000 three new songs are recorded for the first 'Prode' demo called "Nude Celebrities". Major props for the striking sounds of the demo go out to mixer, recorder, and co-producer Mikko Raita. In the summer of 2000 the guy behind the synth, Mace, checks-in to the Finnish army. He hasn't been seen at the rehearsing room ever since. Rice, Juz, Ju? Boest and Alex keep on rockin' the world. Prode - keepin' it real since 1996. |
