Well once again , for those who don't know Get Doe Records is an up and coming indie label founded in new haven connecticut in 1998 by president / c.e.o / artist ric nuek . tired of waiting for a deal or major company to recognise his talent nuek decided to start his own company and release his music independently and on his own . with help from friends and other affiliates the label and ric nuek started a buzz in the area with the first underground album release entitled "the last call" which also featured production by any up and coming producer. the next release off the label would be a mixtape "iz u wit me" prt 1 which added more to the street buzz and more attention....the next mixtape releases included "iz u wit me part 2" "where i'm at" the maxi -single , "born idenity mixtape" , "where i'm at reloaded:the best of ric nuek vol.1" , "the last call mixtape" which then led to some radio time , ric nuek was a finalist in the hip hop supastars contest with xhibit which was aired on power 104 , also he was a winner in power 104's street beats contest with spank buddah..he then would go onto being featured 2 times on k-dub and the biggman (saturday night showdown ) on hot 93.7 and also 2 times on the kid fresh show (crunk it or junk it) he has also been featured on the midnight mauraders show with dj prime on wnhu. but still GET DOE RECORDS is on the rise to try and make it big with the general and the soilders on the front line trying to make it happen...later on nuek would link up with a childhood friend and label mate b.o.b and form the group n.b.a (n.uek a.nd b.o.b allstreet) and release the mixtape ( 1-800-fallback) which recieved alot of response...now at the present state 2006 ric nuek would be featured also on releases such as the hartford based group 4 black faces album "doing our thang now " on the track "where ya"ll at" also he featured on the streets enigma magazine mixtape hosted by bedtyme 357 , also on two mixtape releases by cali sensation playgyrl slim "the networking compilation" and her latest release "2 face" mixtape he also has a song "sucka 4 luv" which is featured on funkmaster flex unsigned talent dvd vol.3 ...so keep ya ears to the streets in 2006 for the label GET DOE RECORDS and N.B.A and most of all ric nuek cause the movement is definetly on the rise and we bout to get it poppin big up's to all my peeps in 203 doin they thang you know who you is and big up's to all my peeps world wide putting it down peace
