Lokixximo is New Yorks answer to the rapidly growing reggeaton trend. Argenis Gomez (Bonao) and Jose Perez (Jose Josexx) are the sexy sounding duo that are the voices and sound of Lokixximo are. When they were eighteen years old ,the duo met in the cafeteria of Christopher Columbus High School in Bronx, New York. During parties at each other's houses, they played songs by reggaeton pioneers such as Vico-C,Playero, and Big Pun. Other influences would be Jay-Z, Nas, B.I.G. & Wu-tang Clan of the New York hip hop music culture percolating throughout the 90's. Bonao wrote his first song, "Turrapia" at 17.

This is a song about girls in his High School that thought they were hot, but they were not!, Bonao first inspiration was poetry winning two awards in poetry competitions & having his poetry published in books wordwide with poems "To my Father", & "My Brother" shows his great songwriting skills, In 1995 Jose Josexx & Bonao123 started making a high school buzz. As Lokixximo, they recorded their first Mixtape "Turrapia" in a week, when they were 18 and junior in high school, soon they starting selling the tapes & became one of the first independent reggaeton groups in their neighborhood , Bonao graduated, however Jose Josexx dropped out from high school . Their official debut mixtape came in 2005, a combination of industry beats & beats provided by Dj Naksis from France, Mike Kadilac & Dj June and named it "Lokixximo 2005" twenty four hard hitting tracks in the mixtape. Lokixximo built its prominent following the old-fashioned way; through hard work and word of mouth promotion. Despite the fact that they havent yet signed a major label record deal their determination and independent work ethics has got the attention of many important promoters, performing in clubs everywhere and driving their van coast to coast, stirring up a quiet a commotion! The name is everywhere, and whenever they perform, their loyal fan base packs a banging crowd. "Los Locos Tambien Comen" is the name of Lokixximos new album. The two take pride in the fact that they have managed to stay true to their latino culture & rhythm while proving that their talent is progressive and diverse & they're not just regular artists they are a movement by winning the DUO REPUBLICA DOMINICANA REGGAETON USA AWARD 2006 they prove their potential, & working with the best producers such as Add On (Unlimited Styles Productions), Willie La Fama (Fully Loaded Music), & GRAMMY award winning engineer/producer Thom Berkley from eastside sound studios, this album is a classic.
