Formed in 2002, S.L.U.M. Entertainment, LLC, was started by 10 close friends, who all shared a passion for hip-hop. There were plenty of arguments on the state of the music, and the Industry?and we decided to be a part of that change by forming an independent record label. Thus, the S.L.U.M. movement was born. Atlanta-based, S.L.U.M. Entertainment, also has officers in Houston, TX, and Charlotte, NC.
S.L.U.M envisions being a world renown home of the Best in Hip-Hop and Urban music, by branding our music with original style and feel that anyone could appreciate. This takeover will begin with the following roster:

The company is in the middle of a MASS PROMOTIONAL campaign. Currently, we?re promoting our latest mix cd: ?The Element vol2: Tough Talk.? This is the follow-up to the underground surprise of 2004, ?The Element Mix CD.? It remains available for FREE on the company?s website, http://www.slumonline.com. While continuously recording, S.L.U.M. artists can be seen performing throughout the Southeast. They have opened for groups such as Petey Pablo, Mr. Cheeks, Jadakiss, The Youngbloodz, Trick Daddy, Young Jeezy, & more?
S.L.U.M. Entertainment will release a DarkWater album at the beginning of 2006. You can expect an album by Sluggs, tentatively entitled "The One," soon after. Yuk is also working on his full-length album. The albums will feature the "DarkWater" family, labelmates, & some of hi-hop & urban music?s rising stars. They can now be heard on S.L.U.M.?s ?The Element Mixtape vol2: Tough Talk.? It?s the talk of the streets?
